My name is John Doyle and I am a communications and technology professional that is extremely passionate about online communications. I have been a speaker at events like the Inbound Marketing Summit – Boston and New York, the Afternoon Keynote Speaker 140 Conference Long Island, KIOLI Summit (Keep It On Long Island), Social Media Summer Boot Camp, Fair Media Council Connection Day, Lightpath Industry Analyst Day and the Light Reading Cable Industry Panel. I also consult with business and community groups about how online networks can be useful at a personal as well as professional level.
A life long resident of a tiny village on the North Shore of Long Island, which is where I currently live with my wife and two sons. I am active in my community having served as a coach in Little League Baseball as well as basketball. I have also been a member of my town’s Volunteer Fire Department since 1982 and have the distinguished honor as being elected to the posts of President, Chief and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Only seven members in the 95 years history of the department have had the honor of all three positions.
I played slo-pitch softball for 20 plus years and during that time, was a member on 14 straight league championship teams. Myself and three others were the only ones to play on all 14 teams so I figured I better hijack the handle before one of them did!!
